"Roma" a Rome Travel Page by rcsparty

After arriving back in Frankfort after a 12 hour flight from Cape Town, I ran home, grabbed some clothes and left 3 hours later with my wife, for a weekend in Rome, ohne kids. Once arriving in Rome, I quickly shook off my exhaustion, for a whirlwind weekend through history. We spent an afternoon in the Forum/Colisseum area, then the following morning at the Vatican, off to the Pantheon area in the afternoon, and Sunday morning at Trevi fountain and the Spanish Steps.

I'm sure staying in a hotel overlooking the forum, having great weather in February with few other tourists, and no kids, all helped make a fantastic weekend; but Rome has easily been our favorite stop during our time living in Europe. Whenever we have visitors ask us which place we would most recommend, it is easily Rome.
