The futuristic TV tower which was initially net with fierce opposition was constructed between 1987 1990 and now dominates the skyline. For 150 cr you are whisked upwards to a spectacular viewing station, from where you can see all of the city from360 degrees. absolutly fantastic, we went up last week 10.10.03 and the resturant was closed but I bet in summer it would be quite busy. Dont forget the video!!

Dont just wander down the street, go into the house at the top end and up the stairs, there is a huge corridor with many suits of armour and costumes dating back years you can even try your hand at cross bow shooting, many artifacts for sale also. Very unexpected.

In the Morzin Palave (1714) ,one of the finest Baroque palaces in the Lesser Quarter, the Baroque architecture of Giovanni Santini combines with the sculpture of Ferdinand Maximilian Brokoff to form a harmonious whole. The balcony is supported on fgures of Moors - heraldic emblems of the Morzin family. Above the doorway are allegoriesof day and night. The building is now occupied by the Rumanian Embassy.

nicolaitan Fri Aug 24, 2007 13:13 UTC Remarkable page - it is amazing that Prague has so much to offer that even long pages can be totally different. We loved Prague and you have so much stuff on here that we didn't see that I could go back all over again. n. | MichaelFalk1969 Tue Apr 3, 2007 07:06 UTC Hi Jan, thanks for the comment on my Prague pague. It was beautiful there - still had some snow, but rather few tourists in January. One of my all-time favourite cities. Best regards, Michael | alancollins Wed Jan 10, 2007 17:05 UTC Thanks for visiting my somewhat sparse Prague pages, I'm just in the process of completely updating them and the Czech Republic. | sprdak11 Thu Aug 24, 2006 17:47 UTC Interesting travel page about Prague. Greetings from Poland. |
