"County Dublin" Dublin by ettenaj
Dublin Travel Guide: 5,063 reviews and 9,245 photos
The county of Dublin is dominated by the capital, and the other major town Dun Laoghaire ( pronounced Dunleary ), which is familiar to many visitors to the Republic arriving by ferry. However, the area around the city provides plenty of sporting and leisure opportunities for visitors- notably an abundance of golf courses. The county is also rich in country homes, castles and beautiful gardens, and has some fine beaches.
- Pros:Lots to see and do
- In a nutshell:Fabulous place even just for a weekend break

Dublin certainly looks like it has lots to offer. My time there was far too short, since I decided to tour the countryside instead! Would love to have seen some of the old castles.
