Tsilivi is the little place we stayed whilst in Zante, Quite small but plenty to do, nice beaches good food and plenty of bars.

This tiny chapel was just around the corner from our hotel,every day the doors were left open and it was spotlessly clean inside, which is nice to see.

I agree on the fact that the Shipwreck was just placed there. Great historical story ... but I'm afraid it's not true :) Anyway ... great island. Thanx for sharing!

We loved Zakynthos in the '80's, everyone so friendly. Never got to Smuggler's Cove but I know what you mean about tourist traps. Better to avoid the crowds.

I went to Zante 6 times but the last was about 15 years ago. Your pix brought back some good memories - specially the one of St Denis's church by night.

Sounds like Zakynthos has got busier from when I was there, I loved the view down on Smugglers Cove, but there was no viewing platform then either. Great tips on a beautiful island!

I just got back 4 days ago. Stayed in Kalamaki. Zante is a beautiful island but that shipwreck is very disappointing! Nice photo's + comments Jan.
