We got on the underground one afternoon and said we would get off at the end of the line.La Defence. I didnt know anything about the area and was extremely pleased that we had done this trip, and can now boast that I have seen it.

It was a choice between here and Disney Land, my son was about 8 years old and we had gone to Paris on a shoe string, and we could only afford one of the attractions. I left it entirely up to him and he chose here, good choice, he really doesnt like fun fairs, and we had a splendid day also a very educational day!

Just to visit Notre Dame is an experience in itself. The outside is as impressive as the inside, this picture was taken from a boat trip on the river. Its a must when in Paris

The first time I went inside I cried at it beauty, the nuns were singing and it was just magical, I vowed if ever I had children I would take them there to have that same experience.10 years later I did return with my son and yes he felt the same thing as I had done. He vows to take his children when he has them.

We got near to the tower and the rain came down, it poured ,but it did not stop our fun. I think if Chris had got into the fountains he could not have got any wetter!!

Very grand statues grace the main streets. You can see just how large this one is , in scale.

Very impressive from the ground but if you a brave enough to go up to the top the views a spectacular, I only have them on camera as I dont like heights, my partner took them for me. There is a sub way under the busy road to get to the monument do not attempt to cross theroad by any other means, not recommended!

well worth a visit especially if it is raining like it was when we went. This picture is taken outside the centre at the fountain, which is all mechanical, quite cute
