Galway city Galway is in the West of Ireland in the Gaeltacht area, i.e. the people also speak irish in schools and pubs and on the street.
Galway is very vibrant- the pubs in the "city center" are crowded with young, friendly people. And from Galway it's pretty easy to visit the Aran Islands.
I only stayed there for three days, so I didn't get to see that much...;o( |
