Leaving London on the 10am 'Flying Scotsman train ' I set out for a weekend in the Scottish capital of Edinburgh. The journey took about 4 hours and we arrived in the heart of the city to a downpour! Our first tourist stop was Edinburgh Castle. |
| | NOT MUCH TIME!!! As our main reason for the trip was a friends wedding this didnt leave much time to sightsee. Luckily a lot can be achieved on foot using Princes street as a base. The first thing you see as you exit Waverley station is the Scott Monument within the Princes gardens. |
