"Kristiansand a kozy little town south of Norway" Kristiansand by Hildeal
Kristiansand Travel Guide: 54 reviews and 198 photos
Kristiansand is a lovely little city situated in the south coast of Oslo. If you're a family with small kids you should visit the Kardemommeby (an amusement park for kids) based on the books from Torbjørn Egner. And in Kristiansand zoo you'll see our famous chimpanzee Julius Kristiansand Zoo is Norway`s most frequently visited attraction covering an area of 150 acres of wild Nordic terrain. It is totally different from other European zoos, which are characterized by bars and heavy padlocks. In Kristiansand Zoo, the animals have wide open spaces in which to roam - however, the visitors are still able to get up close to observe some of the most beautiful animals - like the red panda, which is threatened by extinction. In the same Zoo you'll see our famous pirate captain sabeltooth and his world

Interesting to see that tall ship in your travelogue, I made my Antarctica cruise on such a ship, the bark Europa !
It looks like you had a wonderful experience on the tall ship! One of the cities near here has a Tall Ships Festival, but I have never been there for it. I hope maybe next year.
Birthday greetings from Alaska!
hi, few good tips which are really helpful. I am coming to Oslo any special tips for summer visit. Amol
Hi Hilde, I've had the change to admire the tall ship Sorlandet when she was in Amsterdam for the Sail festival in August this year. Must have been an incredible experience to live on a ship like that for a while :)
Looks like a great voyage :-)
Hello. Great pictures of Kristiansand! Hilsen!
