    • It is strictly forbidden to collect corals and take them out of the sea. Do not even think about it since the Egyptian authorities are very serious about this. There is a large colour scanner at the airport and no one can leave Egypt with any corals in their suitcases and bags. The police take everything of this kind but I am not sure whether there is some punishment or just embarrassment in front of all those people.

     I didn't recognized much difference between the Old Market in Sharm and Naama Bay. In Naama Bay you have more choice . But there are mostly cheap things (textil, false papyrus...) overpriced anyway ever if you bid to a 40% of price.
