Very popular holiday resort for many Europeans and rich Egyptians, Sharm el Sheikh is situated in the southern part of the Sinai Peninsula looking on the Red Sea and Aqaba gulf. It is famous for the breathtaking sea fauna and many places for diving and snorkelling and the warm and cristal clear water of the Red Sea. The Egyptians have done everything to make this a perfect place for holidays. Beautiful hotels, clean and cultivated beaches, various animation programs, kind people. I must notice that people here are somewhat different from those in other parts of Egypt, probably because of constant cultural and traditional mingling. But, more about that in the Shopping section.
I was in Sharm at the beginning of September and temperatures were still above 35-37¢ªC, I could actually feel the Sun burning my skin. Nights were also hot. The weather usually changes from Sept. 10th and it stays hot during days and much cooler at nights.
My holiday was great, I have many nice memories, everything was just fine and I would like to go back to Sharm el Sheikh some day.
