my second favourite city | The London Eye - great on a clear day |
Ok I live in Liverpool and as fond as I am of Liverpool I have to say that London remains my favourite city, after Nice, of course.
This is probably due to the fact that I went to London University (about 300 years ago) - Imperial College by the Victoria and Albert Museum tucked between the Science museum and the Royal Albert Hall so I had three years living in the Capital so I really got to know London quite well and I still get a thrill every time I go back.
I can't think of any other city that has the same buzz (New York perhaps?)
It's lovely taking my daughter there and doing all the touristy things. We are going to the Opera together next month and doing a bit of pre-Christmas shopping. Wonderful! |
