We took the daughter to Paris for her birthday and as a treat, we arranged to have lunch in one of the restaurants in the Eiffel Tower. This way, we also managed to beat the queues. This however, only got you to the first level of the tower - to go higher you had to queue and pay. Anyway, we had a good view from the first level. The food was extremely disappointing and expensive in the 'Altitude 95' restaurant. The daughter was happy enough with her ham and chips but our meal was very poor. The service and presentation was indifferent. The only advantage was to swan past the queues at the bottom- next time I'd rather queue and have a decent meal somewhere else. Shame on the restaurant!
