Nightlife Spot: Club Blink @ Kings Cross Hotel
Club Blink is known as 'Sydney's Leading Alternative Nightclub' and it certainly has lived up to it's name every time I've been there. From 9pm till dawn. Recently moved to the Kings Cross Hotel, it's not hard to miss as it's just across the famous large Coca-Cola sign! Club Blink offers the not-so-average clubber a different taste of music. Playing bands such as System of A Down, Incubus, Marilyn Manson, AFI, Nirvana, Slipknot, Green Day and Disturbed (just to name a few!) the club offers a variety of music for any indie/goth/punk/rock-loving person. It's also just worth a look even if you're not interested in the music - you'll see some interesting people!

Nightlife Spot: Annandale Hotel
Set in a prime location, the Annandale Hotel hosts a number of bands each week and is just a cool place to hang out and have a beer. The Annandale has seen both local Aussie bands as well as some pretty famous overseas bands play. Every Monday you can watch 'Sinema', where the hotel is transformed into a cinema with a twist. They show rare 16mm feature film projects... very strange! Worth a visit!

Nightlife Spot: Popscene @ Soho
Feeling frisky on a Wednesday night? Then go check out 'Popscene' at Soho Bar in the Cross. From 9pm till 2am. Popscene plays alternative music. Anything from the UK, USA and Australia will be played by the resident DJs. A mix of "indie, alternative, pop, motown and country". A fun night to be had by all!

Nightlife Spot: Castle Hill Tavern
Castle Hill Tavern is a variety of pub/club/restaurant all rolled into one fun package. You can visit the Bistro any day or night. Or perhaps you'd like a casual night with friends or family in the Beer Garden? The younger (18+) crowd usually flock to the nightclub on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday night for: Locals Night (Thursday) - free B4 9pm Restylin' Retro (Friday) - free B4 10pm Super Saturday's (obviously...Saturday) - free B4 10pm They also host live bands usually on Wednesday nights from 7pm onwards. Quite a few well-known overseas and Aussie bands have played there including Diesel, The Cruel Sea, The Whitlams, Body Jar, Superheist, and Something For Kate.
