Just a few words on my favourite city in the world! I used to live here and now visit whenever I can. Much is said about the crime rate in South Africa, also a great many tourist websites focus on safari trips.
Now don’t get me wrong, you would be quite mad to travel to South Africa and NOT safari, but there are many other places to visit – Durban being one of them!
I would highly recommend staying in Umhlanga Rocks as this is the really posh area. The photo was taken on Umhloti beach, also a lovely spot and quieter than the main beaches - it also has a lovely beach bar (there is only one) - mind out for the garlic bread though as it is VERY garlicky!!! |
