Favorite Thing: The morning was a perfect start to the wanderings of a tourist in Budapest. All warnings of Budapest in the Fall, of rain and cloud were dispelled by the days I spent in the City.

I travelled from the hotel Kalvin Haz near Vamhaz Krt using the tram # 2 to Kossuth Square, where I found the ticket office and the start of the tours inside the Parliament building.

Be warned there is a serious looking Soldier controlling access to the ticket office, wait for his instructions and be cautious as you cross the paved area to the ticket office, those cars of the bureaucrats do not stop for tourists.

The security system as you enter the main building is as strict as at an airport.

However the tour is memorable and very much worth the visit.

The appearance of the Parliament has more to offer me than the view of the Castle across the river
