|  | Yangshuo is a place you can easily fall in love with, especially if you are an artistic, bohemic kind of a person. The variety of colours here is amazing. The many green shades of Lijang River sparkel under the sun.
In 1996 when we were first here, there were only a few backpackers around. The village was yet becoming popular among travellers. Lately I have been hearing from my friends that this cute little town is full of tourists and that it has become a MUST in the brochures. That is a pitty :( |
| | The best way to spend the holidays here is to rent a bike and just explore the landscape.
The hills are perfect for hikers, a boat ride through a Lijang river is wonderful and use your imagination while observing the beautiful shapes of surrounding hills.
There are also many caves around.... if you are not afraid of bats :) |
