I was planning on visiting the island of Madagascar but instead I ended up in Sri Lanka. I suppose you wonder how?
With all my plannes prepared the only thing missing was the air tickets. I went to my travel agent who persuaded me to go to Sri Lanka instead. He just returned from it with a nice tan and great stories and he was very convincing. So I changed my mind. With the air ticket and a flight in 5 days the only resonable thing to do next was to buy a new travel guide of Sri Lanka.
When I returned home I turned on TV and CNN was reporting about the WTC bombing in Colombo. I was staring at TV with air tickets in my handnot knowing what to do. I didn't know anything about the country but still I thought of it as a big adventure. And it turned out to be one of my best ..... |

MONKEY, MONKEY ... Monkeys are my favourite animals. Sri lanka offers plenty opportunities to get as close to this animals as possible. You have to give them time to get used to you and they let you come really close. | | |
