The town where I was born | The beach of Nyborg and the big bridge |
Nyborg is the name of the town where I was born, but I have never lived there. Directly translated from danish to english 'Nyborg' actually means Newcastle...like the city in Great Britain.
This city is located at the eastcoast of this big Island I live on in the middle of Denmark named Funen (Fyn in danish). From here you can enter the huge brigde 'Storebaelts Broen' that connects Funen with Sealand (where you'll find the capital of Copenhagen).
Nyborg is a little cozy town that don't offer huge tourist attractions but has a range of hotels and a nice camp ground at the beach, as well as a nice shopping-street in the center city. |

| Pros: | "Close at the beach, in the center of Denmark and nice center city" | | Cons: | "Maybe too small for some people" | | In A Nutshell: | "Beach, Bridge and cozy streets" |

der_geograf Mon Feb 2, 2004 19:44 UTC Cool page, Brian! Is that the Oeresund bridge? I want to cross that thing someday! Great photo, and great tip! | ExGuyParis Fri Jan 16, 2004 15:28 UTC I love the picture on the intro page; it looks like an Impressionist painting. |
