The SP state is divided in many regions, Sao Sebastiao is one of this and take the name from the capital town...this area is famouse for the beach area. I spent some days in Costa de Alcatrazes, the north coast from Santos to SAo Sebastiao: I went from Sao Paolo, passing to Mogi das Cruzes to Bertioga, then Borraceia Beach, Jaquey, Barra do Sahy, Camburì, Boucuganca, till ilha Bella...this is a paulista area: when there are holidays all the Paulista go to the beach....
I spent a 2008/09 neyears eve on Camburì beach...party, caipirinha and samba!
