I stayed in Oostende for three days whilst visiting surrounding villages. In my three days there, I concluded that this is the city I want to retire to when I get old. It is right on the Noord Zee (North Sea) and is so very relaxing. It is also close to a lot of other cool cities. About a 15 minute train ride to Brugge, and an hour to Antwerp. Luckily the whole time I was there it was sunny, so I managed to have the time of my life! |
