Some of you have spectacular home pages which are equal parts inspiring and intimidating since I'm not the least bit computer savvy. I am, however, fascinated with travel and like to hear about people's adventures. I'm a 36 year old bookstore owner, I'm married to a poet/RN (how's that for a left brain/right brain combo?) and we live in a small town on the California coast. I am close to fluent in Spanish-which I chose because it is useful in so many desirable travel locations. I have traveled to Mexico and Scandinavia on my own, and to Japan, Chile, and the Greek Isles with my husband. I'm planning a trip to Mexico with my long time 'Little Sister' (through the Big Brothers/Big Sisters program) next summer. I'm also really itching to go to Spain. I love meeting other cultures, and I'd travel for a year at a time if the rest of my life afforded it. I envy those of you making your way through the world with a backpack and maybe a partner or best friend. If you ever find yourself in Eureka California, come visit me at my bookstore:-)
