Flossenburg Concentration Camp was set up on the 3rd May 1938 and the location was chosen because of a nearby granite quarry, where the prisoners were forced to work. 65,000 prisoners passed through the camp during its history with between 5,000 and 18,000 prisoners in the camp at any one time, 30,000 did not survive. There were over 100 sub-camps and besides the granite quarry the prisoners worked in, armaments factories and aircraft factories.

Another one of those camps to remember the past and what can happen. We go to Munich area in May, but no time to get here. Your comments and pictures are nice.
Sad, but very interesting page. I thought it was good, that people could look for lost relatives.
