Potsdam is a place that most people have never heard of. This can be a good or bad thing depending upon your point of view. The Palaces and grounds are amongst the best in Europe. This unique area became a world heritage site in 1990. |
| | Further Visits Since I first visited Potsdam in 2003, I have returned a number of times and I'm am slowly starting to appreciate how much the area has to offer for visitors. The Sanssouci Royal Park is huge with numerous buildings. Most visitors only scratch the surface with visits to the main buildings. |

Nemorino Mon Aug 31, 2009 22:34 UTC My one visit to Potsdam so far was a somewhat hectic business trip with no time to look at the sights, so I hope to return. Great that you have been there several times and had a good look at everything! I like the history and the Einstein connection. | MD2nd Sat Jul 18, 2009 13:23 UTC Great Potsdam page!
