Potsdam is a place that most people have never heard of. This can be a good or bad thing depending upon your point of view. The Palaces and grounds are amongst the best in Europe. This unique area became a world heritage site in 1990. |
|  | Further Visits Since I first visited Potsdam in 2003, I have returned a number of times and I'm am slowly starting to appreciate how much the area has to offer for visitors. The Sanssouci Royal Park is huge with numerous buildings. Most visitors only scratch the surface with visits to the main buildings. |

Interesting place to visit. What a lot of great palaces of various sizes. I loved the 'Turkish Mosque'. Excellent pictures and now even more good informative tips. |
