Rhossili Travel Guide: 7 reviews and 49 photos

I drove my daughter Emma to Rhossili Bay, for her to complete a photographic assignment. The first thing I noticed when I arrived on a dull, windy and occasional rainy day was the car park was busy and almost full. Whilst Emma was working I went for a walk around the area to try and find out what the attraction of the area was?

In the summers of the late 50s and through the 60s Rhossili Bay was our favourite weekend destination with the children. Of course it NEVER rained in those days and we took, not just a picnic but food and drink to last until we packed up around 6-ish to head for home.
More recently we have taken grandchildren - it seems busier now and rains more often but they love it too.

Alan, fantastic start about Rhossili here. It is acutally one of my very favourite places on the coastline of the UK. A pity that the shipwreck Helvetia has now almost disappeard.
