Cancun is one of the most visited places of México and is easy to know why; It has the perfect combination of nice weather, beautiful beaches and landscapes, shopping malls, world best night clubs, mayan ruins and all kind of attractions that go from relaxing spas to adventure trips to caves, etc. |
|  | Visiting Cancun My first visit to Cancun was in 2001 for my honeymoon, and yes I fall in love with the place, the beach is beautiful and I had the first opportunity of my life to visit the wonderful mayan ruins, so it was the perfect place.
But as many people will notice and probably don't like it, in Cancun there's a lot of influence from the USA, the malls, hotels and some other main attractions are very "disney like" or "american style". so is not completely mexican culture as some people wish it could be, so be prepared.
my last visit was shorter in time, I didn't have the opportunity to visit many places, but I enjoyed same or better than the first time. Cancun has become one of my favorite places. |
