Paris is the city of love and romance, is a seductive city that enchant you. In Paris Glamour is never far, people carry themselves with certain elegance and pride, making them look not completely friendly, but at least polite.
How can someone visit this amazing city and Not fall in love?
Is a rich city on Art, History, Architecture, Elegant and Seductive as no other.
I had hear so many tales about paris, about french people being mean with tourist, places too crowd, dangers, etc. But this end up being the perfect place to visit, my dream vacacions, my son didn't even want to go back home, neither I.
Paris is just amazing! People was friendly or at least polite, very helpful and open for conversation. Most of them speak English or Spanish (well, italian but at least we could sort of understand us) and that was very helpful for us. I never needed my pocket diccionary.
We were walking around most of the time, something we don't even think of doing at home, but we really enjoyed.
My last visit to Paris was shorter in time, but this was my first time traveling by myself. Traveling alone gives you more freedoom, but also some level of sadness when you find there's no one around to comment the beauty of that, but there's also no hurry to get to a place and you can decide where to go and when, so in my last day in Paris and traveling by myself without children and husband I decided to do just what a common tourist will never do, just relax. I had a peaceful walk along the beautiful streets of Paris from the Arc de Triomph to the Tour Eifeel with a stop for a coffe and Panini, then some walking along the Seine River, I stop to read a book while listening my little ipod, sitting in a bench with the beautiful view of the Seine river and the Eiffel tower then heading arriving at Notre dame, being there it's like being inside a novel. After a nice sunset watching I walked my way back to the hotel stoping for a quick glance to the Louvre and the Opera and for a last cup of coffe.
- Pros:Beutiful city
- Cons:expensive
- In a nutshell:Breath taking

HI - Happy New Year! We are going to FRance again in April, so will read more of yr tips soon; also we enjoy travling in our adopted country!!
París es una ciudad muy bonita e interesante. Hay tanto para ver que necesitas volver muchas veces para visitar casi todo.
Good Paris tips. I like those Pomme du Pain restaurants.
Wonderful little page about Paris. I'm sure you enjoyed it as much as I did.
Yes, I do that too. I stumble across something interesting, without a clue what it is, and look it up when I get home.
You must have been in Paris about the same time I was. Glad you had such a good time. (So did I!)
