What can you say of New York City that hasn't been said before? It's really difficult to come up with something new....still hundreds of new pages of this amazing city appear week after week. I promise to try to make a different one....or at least to transmit to you what i felt while I was in New York. (as for the title it may not be true, but it sounds good, i read it on a huge sign at ground zero) |
Live the night any way you like it I've been to New York three times, I was fortunate enough to go both in summer and winter so I could see two different faces of the city. NY is alive, you feel it when you walk....but it's different from what you expect. When you come here you have all these ideas about what New York will be, will there be people on the streets all the time? That's what I asked myself...then I realised that, although Times Square is busy pretty much all day, you still can find peace on the city very late at night at for me it was great to go out very late for walks cause you can discover a whole new different Manhattan. Of course NYC is famous for it's nightlife, make sure you explore it, it's worth it. |
My favourite part of town I LOVED all of New York, but the SOHO was my favourite part. It's hard to pick one place in New York, cause it's all so thrilling that when you pivk a place you really have to think it twice. But the SOHO has something special. At first it was weird to see how quiet this area is ( in comparison with the rest of Manhattan), but when you get used to walking it's streets, full of small restaurants, cd stores and cool clothes stores you will absolutely love it. |

It's a world in itself:)Greetings~Heidi | aecbtbf00 Sun Jun 5, 2005 22:37 UTC Well as a Proud New Yorker I have to say you've a very good job with your New York page.
