Buenos Aires is the capital of Argentina. It has 3 million inhabitants (11 on the metro area) and 200 square kms. Probably the best things of the city is that it has a little bit of many cities. Some of the architecture reminds us of Paris or Madrid while the city's pace is comparable to that in NYC. |
| | Culture Buenos Aires has a lot of Museums and theatres that are really worth visiting. This is a great way to get in touch with the local culture and the people. I recommend you to visit the Teatro Colon, Teatro Cervantes, Museo de Arte Hispanoamericano, Museo de Arte Moderno de Buenos Aires. Museo de Bellas Artes, Museo de Esculturas Luis Perlotti and much more. |
| | Buenos Aires is a city for walking. I recommend you not do any plans, just get out of your hotel and experience the city. Around every corner you will find something that catches your attention, stop at a bar, have some coffee, go to restaurants (please don't go to McDonald's!! the food here is great and cheap), discover the neighbourhoods and don't focus only on avenues, the inside streets have very beautiful buildings that must be seen. Enjoy Buenos Aires!! Cruza el charco y visita my pagina de Montevideo !!! Cross the river and visit my Montevideo page!! |
