short introduction We visited Bar Harbor on out road trip along the East Coast. It is a charming little town focused on tourists. It is situated on Mount Desert Island that is home to the spledid Acadia national park. Back packers: Bar Harbor can be reached by bus. On the island there is a free shuttle 'Island Explorer' to get you around and they even operate pretty late(http://www.exploreacadia.com/index.html). On shuttle bus serves the camping grounds especially. |
