Welcome To London Of all travels, London is *BY FAR* my favourite. The eleven days spent within encompasses a plethora of good times and friendships made lasting to this day. London will most certainly be frequented again. I enjoyed time spent amongst the British and Europeans far to much. Without question, I felt right at home amongst the British. |
| The Last Concorde Flight High Above The Thames |
The Last Concorde Flight Chilling out after a Tower of London tour, the air was filled by the roar of supersonic engines cast by three Concorde jets high above the Thames. The last flights before decommissioning, I was able to snap a pic the last of the three planes shortly before their Heathrow arrival, and subsequent permanent grounding. Look closely, it's flying into the sunset. |
| David Blaine In London's Potters Field |
David Blaine Three days after my arrival, David Blaine made is way down from his glass cage in Potters Field. A circus atmosphere, everybody had definitely indulged in a few pints sporting hamburgers, pizzas, etc. accompanied by longshoreman commentary that to this day makes me laugh. Definitely one of the best nights spent in London. |
