The first stop on our Paris trip was the Arc de Triumphe. Not as big as i expected, but still a stunning site! It sits in the middle of what surely must be one of the busiest roundabouts in Paris. A steep climb up one of the legs brings you to a small museum which contains some art and a scale model of the Arc de Triumphe. The view from the top is great.

The Champs-Elys?es is a must see of Paris. With its many restaurants, bars and shops, you could easily spend hours walking up and down it.......we did! We stopped off at a small bar for a quiet afternoon drink on the Champs-Elys?es after visiting the Arc de Triumphe. It was a lovely warm day. We then contiued to walk all the way down towards the Louvre, which is at the opposite end of the Champs-Elys?es from the Arc de Triumphe. The view from both ends is breathtaking!

I love Paris also. Its my favorite city. I have a similiar picture from the Arc de Triumphe on my page. It rained while I was there also but it did not matter. I love this city. |
