A quick weekend in Paris | View From the Arc de Triumphe |
WOW! We booked on the Tuesday and flew over on the Saturday Morning. Got the bus from the Airport to Paris Centre and walked......and walked.....and walked.
Visited the Arc de Triumphe, walked down the Champs-Elys?es. Had a couple of beers and some lunch. Walked to the louvre, along and back up along the river to our hotel........ Hotel Fremiet, which is beautiful.
Went out to a quiet little restaurant for dinner. |
After dinner, we went out a walk along the river, which was lit up by the moon. Went up the Eiffle tower, which by night is lovely!
Next day we got up to some miserable weather. Had a boat ride down the river to Notre Damn Cathedral, then took an underground up to the Sacre Coeur, then walked round the Artists square Where we had a lovely meal. Then we got a cab back to the Champs-Elys?es where our bus was waiting to pick us up to take us back to the airport. All in all, 2 of the best days of my life! |

I love Paris also. Its my favorite city. I have a similiar picture from the Arc de Triumphe on my page. It rained while I was there also but it did not matter. I love this city. |
