"Incredible Find" Massalubrense by baltimoregirl

I can't wait to get pictures of Marina del Cantone here. It is breathtaking, even in March.

My mother grew up in Southern Italy in Casserta, near here. When I knew I was coming to Italy, of course I planned to visit in her hometown area, however I wanted to stay off the beaten path, and also near the water. When we found Marina del Cantone as we were researching, we knew this was the place. It's a tiny little fishing port on the Amalfi coast, great for hiking, scuba and snorkeling, and just plain soaking up the southern Italian sun.

• Pros:a little bit of heaven
• Cons:way off the beaten path.. you need to find some patience to find this spot, but well worth the effort.
• In a nutshell:i wouldnt have missed this for anything.
