A good way to see a lot of Vancouver in a short time, or to get a glimpse of places you want to go back to and spend more time there, is to use the Vancouver Trolley,
It has 23 stops, fully narrated, you get off and on whenever you feel like it.

There is a day pass for one full circuit.
Pick up a leaflet, or ask at your hotel. There is a timetable included,. a map showing the route and numbered stops , so it is easy to choose your stop off points, if you have done your homework first.

Believe it or not, the picture shows part of the roof of the Trolley that was decorated for Christmas, with huge red bows. The outside of the Trolley had icicle style lights all round it.
