|  | Cricket Tour & Sightseeing We went to New Zealand primarily to watch the New Zealand v England Cricket Test.
We travelled on so many small planes between the North & South Islands, and as well as my Husband watching the cricket, I did my own thing on those days. The organised tour we went on allowed us to see so many places too. We added on another week to the 5 week tour, to stay with our friends in Napier , the Art Deco city of the North Island. Then we came home via a 4 days stop in Sydney, Australia.
It goes without saying, I would love to go back again, the two islands have their own character and diversity.

JOAN... MAORI TRIBES... are they not treated like '2nd class citizens' in NZ nowadays? I have heard this is so, tho I have MUCH RESPECT & ADMIRATION 4 the people & their culture. Gr8 pictures. I look 4wd to my journey there someday. Thanks 4 sharing. *H* |
