most photographed view of Valletta I am lucky to say this is the view I wake up to every year we visit Malta. This was taken on our balcony at sunset. What a beautiful view. I never tire of looking at it. The dome is the Carmalite church, and the church with the spire is St. Mary's. The bastions are lit up at night. Also in the picture , you can see the ferry terminal from Sliema - Valletta. |

Don't you just love;- Off to Malta again October 2008 check back for updates if any
Don't you just love this old Bedford Bus. (note update 2008. many new buses are on routes now, but a few of the old ones are still about.)
The visit to Malta was for a cricket tour, but there was plenty of time to take in the island in between matches with local clubs.
The Maltese were so friendly, and of course the English language was no barrier to great conversation and laughter.
We took a trip on a bus like this up to Bugibba.
The buses nearly always have a religious figure on the dashboard. The ride is bumpy but fun.
