I seem to have put all my info. on Oahu on my Hawaii page.
One day I may address this error.
In the mean time, have a look at the entrance to the Memorial of the Pacific.
We really do like re-visiting O'ahu, so much so, we shall be there for Christmas this year, really looking forward to Christmas day in the sun., and warmth.

This statue in down town Honolulu, is of King Kamehameha who conquered and unified the Hawaiian Islands.

This sculpture is near the beachside road, opposite Kapiolani Park, near to Diamond Head at Waikiki.
Since our previous visit (November 2002, this was erected)
There is no nameplate to say who the sculptor was, or anything of relavance.
I just like it.

- Pros:friendly Hawaii'ans, sunshine, relaxing atmosphere
- Cons:too many "tourists" - and a long way for us to travel
- In a nutshell:worth the long flights.
