Hawai'i - now a long time ago when we watched Hawaii 5 0, we never dreamed we would go there, but there was an offer with a travel company that we could not resist, and this year, 2003, will be our third visit, and we are going to be there over the Christmas period.
We like Waikiki beach, and all the surroundings.
We have looked at old pictures of how it used to be, and now it is changed to big wide roads, very clean pathways, oh so much else.
The Hawaii'an people are so friendly, and what good movers ! how do they do the hula !!!!

Well I did try in my younger days with the hoola hoop as it was called then, but let us not get into that now.!

We must really like re-visiting, as it is a long, long journey from the U.K., but thankfully now the stop-over is in San Fran instead of L.A. I like San Fran airport.

We are always sure of a warm welcome on O'ahu, not long to go now before we return.

Why not visit the free Museum - Fort De Russy, it is practically on the beach. Very interesting & informative, not like big stuffy museums, do check it out.

Rays galore

Rays

A free show is to see the Rays, and divers feeding them if you are lucky, at the Duty Free Galleria in Waikiki. Go in the store and walk through the tunnel and watch them swim over your head. Fascinating.

Hi Joan ,this is cool ,you went to Waikiki Beach in November 2002, and we went in February 2003 , you visited all the places we did ,in your picture you are standing in front of the statue of the famous Hawaiien surfer ,pretty cool eh.Great page Joan
