This picture sums up Sydney for me,- famous landmarks.
There was so much to see while we were there, and with only 4 days, had to leave some places off our list.
I had to see what all the fuss was about Bondi Beach - ok. it is a wide expanse of sand !
Took a trip to the Blue Mountains, which I thoroughly enjoyed, although I have to say seeing the results of recent bush fires saddened me.
The visit to a working sheep farm was fun, also the visit to the Australian Wildlife Park.
The trip around Sydney Harbour was genteel, serving scones and jam, with coffee or tea. (that appealed to the British in me !!)

This picture was taken on the harbour boat trip.
Taking the harbour cruise is the best way to see the Sydney Opera house from all angles.
It was on this trip that scones, jam and tea was served.
A real treat.

This is a view of the Quay from where the Harbour Cruises leave.
Photo taken from the top deck of the boat.

Joan, thanks for your useful and interesting tips... Take care!
Shame you didn't have more time to explore some of our gr8 museums & galleries, but you covered the biggies pretty well. Btw we spend a bit of time at the SCG in winter time to watch the Sydney Swans play AFL. regards from downunder.
