As with any town / city, there is an
element of beggers and gypsies
who will bother you on the street,
and have been known to walk into
restaurants and stores. Just ignor
them, and yell to go away if they do
get close. They will scatter, because
they do not want to draw attention to
themselves.

Most are harmless, but there is also
an element of drug addicts begging
for money to buy drugs ....

DO NOT ARGUE WITH BEGGERS,
because drug addicts are desperate
for money to buy drugs, and can also
become violent.

If you are followed or harrased by one,
just go into the nearest store / restaurant
and let them pass by.

We did not have any problems, and most
people won't for the most part ....

Just be observent of your surroundings,
but also enjoy your visit.

Overall, the main part of Bratislava is
safe with very little problems.

Like any city areas you are not familiar with,
stay off dim lighted streets, the dark side
streets at night and you'll be fine ....
