Today, Monday, June 12, 2006, I received in the US Mail, a lovely post card from my VT friend, Kyoub (Kay). It was such a delight to hear from her and to receive the pictured post card with historic information on the backside.
I learned that Fort Worth, Texas, was named after General William J. Worth. The town started as an army outpost in 1849 but later became a major livestock center.
