I don't actually live here - just in a small village outside the town.
Newbury is fairly boring.
Same shops as everywhere else. The area feels very affluent since so many people work for Vodafone. Lots of new houses, traffic...
I was born in London, so Newbury feels great to me. I prefer a more rural style. |
Things to do Walk along the Kennet and Avon Canal.
Hike the Ridgeway or Coombe Gibbet.
Plenty of places to eat and drink in Town centre - better shopping in Reading though.
It always seems damp in the Thames Valley. |
