"Baltoberfest...sorta" a Baltimore Travel Page by zanzooni

I did manage to meet up with Frankcanfly, Hansi, LoriPori, CMThomas and his wife, Ethel, who doesn't spend time on VT, but prefers to spend, get this....6 HOURS in a German chat room!! We met at "Blob's Park", this German Polka place way out in Jessup, MD. Talk about a true "off the beaten path" location. I had to laugh when I mentioned that fact to the group, and Lori chimed in, "Yeah, we were wonderin' where they were taking us!" as you have to drive down this long winding driveway that ends up out in a field in the middle of nowhere.

I loved talking with Lori, Ethel and Clarence and finally getting to know them off of VT. I wish we could have spent more time together. I spent some time with "Frankcanfly", but he was pretty exhausted after putting up with all of the Vt'rs for 5 days, and unfortunetly, my pics of him did not come out, as I kept hitting the on/off switch, instead of the "click" button!! What can I say...it's a new camera, and I still think I am using "Jdabugg"'s camera.

I love Lori's face here, as she was giving Clarence the "look" as he was commenting to me, "Take the picture all ready!!"

...even if it's only to record 32 minutes of footage of people's feet, including the conversation.

I had so much fun meeting up with this group. Hansi and I have been talking, singing, & laughing with each other for 3 years. We danced together,(OH..you should have seen that ONE....we couldn't stop laughing)sang together, and had a wonderful time.
