The City that Never Sleeps

Really, Nobody Sleeps

The City really never sleeps; hence all the lights :)

New York City is a dream for many people. I live here. But let me tell you, you're not missing much. NYC is a city that is definately worth a couple of visits, but living here, you view it a whole other way. I actaully dont like living in Manhattan...dispite it being New York City, there is not that much for a teenager to do. We cannot go to clubs/bars because we are under 21, we've gotton to old to go the movies anymore, and museums.....c'mon we're teenagers! Ok well that leaves one thing, SHOPPING! Don't get me wrong, I love to shop, but thats become pretty much the only thing to do around here....and once you become a shopper you cant stop....you always have to have the trendiest stuff...and let me tell you being trendy cost a lot of money!

I personally like living in Europe. People are more laid back....and nicer. In New York City, almost everyday I here two people (strangers) on the street arguing...its insane! The crowds dont bother me...I like watching all the lost tourists... :-)
NYC

Home Sweet Home

I Live in New York and have lived there all of my life. So I should say that Im an expert on the city. Especially Manhattan and all of the shopping areas! Like I said before I love to shop! New York is really the city that never sleeps!

~*DID YOU KNOW*~no one knows why, but 90 percent of women who walk into a department store immediately turn to the right.

Go for a Carriage Ride...

Yes, even in New York City you can go for a romantic carriage ride around New York City......and yes its a REAL horse.

The roller rinks and skate park at Chelsea Piers no longer exist. They were torn down in the fall of '06 as part of the construction to extend the Hudson River Park.

Lovely hometown page, Andrea. I love visiting NYC pages. The city is so varied that everyone's page has another untold treasure. Kind regards from Florida.
