"Camping Trip" Bon Echo Provincial Park by Jessica_13

Bon Echo Provincial Park Travel Guide: 12 reviews and 31 photos

I went to Bon Echo Provincial Park, once this year and once last year. This year we climbed up the trail to teh top of the rock, it was about a twenty five minutes walk to get to the top. We had to take a "ferry boat" althought it was more of a ponton boat. The cost was about three dollars a person to get over. The sites that my family and I stayed at were not the exculsive ones or the walk in sites, althought the sites were not too close to the neighbours. We had a quite a few problems with raccoons but that will happen almost everywhere. The facilities were always being cleaned and very well maintanced. The showers were great and very powerful, the presure almost blew off my skin. The best time of the year to go is in the fall, when you can see all the amazing colours.
