Very Nice but at a Tourist Price

We were very impressed with Aruba, It has the idea of catering to the tourists down to a T. There is Luxery, Great hotel's and Resturants, All specializing in Service. That said, You pay for the service. I think I'd take the lower end caribbean beauty of San Andres Colombia for less than half the price for all but special occasions.

A Civil Wedding

So, we had our big Catholic wedding in Bogota, but Bogota is up in the Mountians and My elderly grandmother would have trouble with the altitude, What to do, what to do. . . ?

Well you could use this as an excuse to have a little family get together on a sea level desert Island. Sounded like a good plan to us so my grandmother, Mother and Sister came down to Aruba from the U.S. and my wife, Fiance at the time, came down from the mountians and had a Civil Wedding, pre honeymoon all at the same time.

Piling upthe rock will sooner or later have the island cope with unnatural erosion, hope the tour operators will stop this myth before they destroy the island;s nature.
