Bandon is quite a ways from Portland, but very worth the trip. We had a great seafood meal of Dungeness Crab and mussels, and the town is fantastic. But the beach is definitely a highlight.
This is by far the most gorgeous land in the United States. Bar None. And that's my opinion.
It has windsurfing, hiking, waterfalls, kayaking, grand hotels, rose gardens, and on and on. You must go see it!
