To much light, to little food...

As a real "hard-core" first-time visitors we didn't have time to explore restaurants. Those good-loking (from outside) neon temptations around Times Square are generally overpriced. But I am sure there are lot of excellent restaurants outside overcrowded turistic areas.

BxUnika Sat Feb 26, 2005 03:58 UTC FYI, the Bronx is a borough (read: county) with over 1 million people, not a neighborhood. | JVANYC Sun Feb 6, 2005 17:36 UTC Observing drug dealers in Washington Square Park is a little like seeing nuns at the vatican. They probably aren't there to start any trouble. Just ignore them. If you want a nice park Union Sq Park at 14th or Manhattan park at 23rd street. | spgood301 Thu Feb 3, 2005 05:00 UTC Hi Snoopy Sue, glad you enjoyed New York. I think I learned a few things about my hometown from you. Cheers! | irvbur Wed Jan 12, 2005 02:40 UTC Hi Snoopy, You did a great job of capturing the spirit of my home town. I'm thrilled you had a great time and took unbelievable pix. Irv |
