Getting TO/AROUND: I don't remember the name of the agency we choose for canal boat sightseeing but I am sure that they were located on main street going from railway station to Dam Square just about 300m from the station on the left. Be sure to check the prices because they vary significantly.

Getting TO/AROUND: The best and inexpensive way to explore Amsterdam streets is to rent a bycicle. I am not sure about prices, but there are lot of rental agencies all around.

Category: Train
Getting TO/AROUND: Amsterdam is not car friendly city. You can spend a day looking for free parking lots in inner city. So we decided to leave the car in Haarlem (where we were accomodated) and to buy one week rail pass valid for unlimited travel throughout Holland. It was very good bargain saving our money and nerves. Highly reccomendable!
