The University of the Philippines is the premier university in the Philippines. The Quezon City campus is the biggest campus in the system. It's a good place to see huge old Acacias. The UP Fair is a much celebrated affair every 14th of February. The sunken garden is a good place to fly kites, play ball or just kid around. Fishball is a staple street food in UP - but eat at your own risk. The UP chapel - the Church of the Holy Sacrifice - is the first chapel approved by the Vatican to be built without the traditional knave because it is circular. The artworks that adorn the walls (way of the cross) is also a national treasure. UP is a good stop and plenty of places for a good photo op.

One often wonders why... they built that statue so high? Is it so he can reach the sky... or is it to deny...any student who might try...to rub against his thigh...in hope their wish won't die?
